From Sabang to Merauke: Our Epic 30000 KM Motorcycle Journey through Indonesia!
Starting from our Bali home, we headed to Sabang in Aceh – Indonesia’s northwesternmost point. Our quest led us eastwards to the farthest reaches of the archipelago – Merauke, Papua, where we witnessed the breathtaking beauty of this remote island.
Along the way, we made a pit stop at the southernmost point on the picturesque island of Rote. Our ambitious goal was to be the first couple to reach four extreme points of Indonesia on two motorcycles in one epic journey. Sadly, we couldn’t make it to the northernmost point on Miangas due to government regulations.
Nevertheless, this film encapsulates our most unforgettable moments. The scenic vistas, the cultural encounters, and the indomitable spirit of exploration are all captured in this epic tale.
