Yekini is a 3D Animated Mini series set in Nigeria. Yekini tells the story of talented 17 Year old boy who has strong passion to play football in the biggest level of professional football, The EKO league. However, his mother wants him to stay in school to read and become a Lawyer so he can fight his relatives for his late father’s properties. This and many other challenges await Yekini as he embarks on the journey of being one of the greatest to play the game in the heart of Eko City’s Eko League.
Yekini Animated Series is created by Gbenga Ajetomobi, a 3D Generalist from Nigeria, and produced by Olabode Ajayi a CG artist based in Poole, UK. We have a team of creative all across the world who are dedicated and passionate to bring the project to life!
Yekini has been in the works for over 3 Years now from conceptualization and now to the first official trailer, and now we are excited to bring you along with us in this journey.
